Kleverage @ Fluxys: functional extension for the fiber optic management
After installation of the Kleverage software suite in 2011, we are pleased to announce that Fluxys has renewed its confidence in P&T Consulting by ordering the development of additional features that will expand the functional capabilities of the existing installation.
This extension is meant to anticipate the needs of users in two main areas:
- Functionality for generating a report on circuit routing, including the identification of all components on the circuit. This report will enable Fluxys’ staff to get an instant overview of all network components that could cause a broken circuit and quickly locate the root cause of a failure.
- Identification of optical paths and control of circuit integrity. This feature will allow users to know at a glance the feeds of a network connectivity element by analyzing the existing optical paths. The user will select an element (e.g. a rack or cable) to identify all available optical paths that could provide connectivity to a given customer.
