French Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2008

P&T Consulting was chosen by the General Secretariat of the French Presidency of the European Union as the official supplier of the accreditation system for the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the second half of 2008.

As such, P&T Consulting :

• Granted a license to use the Novento software, geared towards the specific requirements of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union, in interdepartmental mode (i.e. with active participation from all ministries)
• Defined the technical architecture for a hosting platform featuring superior security and offering optimal service level agreements
• Trained all managers within France's ministries, representing over 250 people
• Set up the specific practical processes in relation to the central security services and all regional and departmental prefectures
• Provided software users with operational assistance
• Delivered hotline support throughout the Presidency (24/7 for seven months)
• Oversaw the complete transfer of skills to the General Secretariat's accreditation team
• Deployed an interactive communication tool for tracking project progress
• Supplied documents for users and members of the organization
• Set up a standardized project management system with a clearly identified project manager in charge of continuously overseeing services
• Provided on-site support at 40 events in liaison with all of France's ministries
• Lent its support to the participant accreditation process
• Ensured weekly tracking of all accreditation-related actions and information with dashboards, statistics, and so on

Novento accredited over 88 000 participants as part of France's Presidency. P&T Consulting pounced on the occasion to sharpen Novento's features for event security and global action monitoring.
