P&T Consulting joined the Autodesk Developer Network for a common offer on the telecom market

P&T Consulting and Autodesk EMEA, publisher of the Autodesk mapping solutions, MapGuide Enterprise and Topobase, announce the signing of a technological and commercial partnership in the telecommunications market.

The activity of P&T Consulting Business Unit TAKM meets the expectations of the telecom network infrastructure stakeholders

This infrastructure (civil network, passive and active equipment, fiber) is the basis on which a Telecom operator builds its business and develops its commercial offers. As a part of the company’s stake, neglecting the infrastructure management could be dangerous. Just as the foundations of a house must be strong to ensure its longevity, every operator must have a detailed, coherent and up-to-date knowledge of its network, to ensure a quality of service in line with the market expectations.

For years, P&T Consulting has developed a strong relationship with European telecom operators and their infrastructure division, by developing tools able to help them understand and manage their physical capital in a better way.

The TAKM software solution is based on the physical wealth management of telecom infrastructure, and addresses specific issues of the actors intervening on these basic network elements. The different TAKM plug-ins, complementary to each other, enable the profitability improvement and efficiency management for always-evolving infrastructure. They fit in a simple way in the information systems of operators with which they communicate (supervision, billing, customer service ...). With the TAKM suite, infrastructure and process management is facilitated and optimized from the project phase to the exploitation and analysis, for civil engineering, the passive network, or active equipment. TAKM includes a mapping plug-in which is already available and compatible with several Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

A partnership for an offer that sticks to the needs of telecom stakeholders

This new partnership with Autodesk completes the P&T Consulting offer by integrating a new module, compatible with AutoCAD Map 3D Engine Software. The interest is real for telecom operators, the delegated utilities managers or local authorities already equipped with Autodesk: it allows them to use TAKM without having to invest in additional software. For those not equipped, it allows them to choose the GIS solution that suits the best to their context and their needs.
