Novento a le plaisir d’annoncer une nouvelle référence de prestige pour sa solution IC2M : la Présidence Belge de l’Union Européenne (PBUE), qui se déroule du 1er Juillet au 31 décembre 2010. Novento assurera pendant ces 6 mois, en plus de la gestion des accréditations, la coordination des agents de liaison.

Ces derniers sont en charge de l’accueil et de l’accompagnement des différentes délégations internationales présentes lors d’un certain nombre de réunions officielles au programme de la PBUE.

La qualité des prestations des agents de liaison contribue à l’image de marque de la Présidence et des organisateurs de manifestations.

Cette référence vient enrichir la liste de référence d’IC2M, notamment avec les Présidences Européennes du Luxembourg (2005), de l’Allemagne (2007), du Portugal (2007) et de la France (2008), du Sommet du G8 Allemand (2007) et du Sommet de Paris pour l’Union de la Méditerranée (12-13 juillet 2008).

La signature de ce nouveau projet est concomitante avec la distribution d’une nouvelle version majeure d’IC2M, solution européenne leader en gestion des accréditations pour les événements sensibles. La version V3.4 se différencie de la précédente par de nombreux ajouts fonctionnels et une évolution majeure de son ergonomie.

New reference for Novento : The Belgian Presidency of the European Union

Novento is pleased to announce a new prestigious reference for its IC2M solution: the Belgian Presidency of the European Union (BPUE), which runs from July 1st  to December 31st 2010. Novento will provide during these six months, in addition to the accreditation management, the coordination of the liaison officers.

They will be in charge of hosting and supporting the various international delegations who will attend some of the official meetings during the BPUE. The quality of their service contribute to image of the Presidency and the event organizers.

These new contracts enrich the IC2M reference list, in addition to the European Presidency of Luxembourg (2005), Germany (2007), Portugal (2007) and France (2008), the German G8 (2007) and the Paris Summit for the Mediterranean Union (12-13 July 2008).

Novento has also launched a new major version of IC2M, the European leading solution for critical events accreditation management. The version V3.4 differs from the previous by many additional functions and a significant upgrade to its ergonomics.

Several functional changes

Screenshot NoventoNew features and enhancements have been added during this update, including:

  • A full calendar view for the events managed in the software, to customize the views.
  • A more flexible edition for badges and forms. The complete badges design is made online, in real time, offering maximum responsiveness.
  • History tracking of a participant. Modifications are stored, allowing complete traceability of actions, thus maintaining continuous security in the validation process of accreditation applications.
  • Mailing-list management optimization, which turns IC2M into a multimedia platform. It can manage online documents, send emails, reminders, confirmations, and so on.
  • Multilingualism management is available on all sites. Adding a new language in IC2M is therefore easy and fast.
  • Complete overhaul of the access rights and workflow management, enabling the use of IC2M as a fully configurable SaaS solution, for client and user.

An improved design

The GUI has also been redesigned to improve readability and ease of use. Novento has worked on:

  • Standardization of all lists and “CRUD” forms (Create / Read / Update / Delete) in the organization site.
  • Reorganization of the administration module into sub-modules, properly identified and more usable.

A product close to the market’s attends

The functionalities improvement was based on the feedbacks from different Presidencies of the European Union in which the Novento team was involved (Luxembourg, Germany, Portugal, Slovenia, France). Many contacts with the market also helped the developers to build a comprehensive offer, on line with the expectations of the prospects.

We have kept all the original qualities of the product: safety, functional relevance in the context of major international summits, reliability and stability of the solution. We've also added some 'bricks' that were missing for major events organizers ... by organizer, we mean both the agencies for their sensitive events, and the large organizations or NGOs for their important events that they regularly organize. Or even the national and international sports federations during the competitions. The next step is to incorporate new technologies into IC2M, including biometric recognition and supervision, and a mobile version."
