German Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2007 and the G8 summit in Heiligendamm
P&T Consulting was chosen by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the official supplier of the accreditation system for meetings of the German Presidency of the Council of the European Union as well as for the G8 summit in Heiligendamm. As such,
P&T Consulting:• Granted a license to use the German version of the Novento software, geared towards the specific requirements of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• Worked on technical issues with the company hosting the Novento software suite
• Trained all members of the organizing body
• Provided members of the organizing body and software users with operational assistance
• Delivered hotline support throughout the Presidency (24/7 in the days running up to the most important meetings)
• Provided on-site support for the Presidency's most important meetings
• Ensured on-site operational support during the G8 summit in Heiligendamm
• Deployed an interactive communication tool with the Ministry for tracking project progress
• Supplied documents in German for users and members of the organization
• Set up a standardized project management system with a clearly identified project manager in charge of continuously overseeing services
